Testimony is set to begin Tuesday afternoon in the murder trial of Bernard "B.J." Brown, who is accused of having helped kidnap and kill VIA bus driver Samuel Allen Johnson Jr. in January 2010 at the request of the mother of Johnson's child.
Prosecutors alleged, and a jury agreed, that Vanessa Cameron orchestrated the killing out of jealousy of another woman and to collect a hefty life insurance payout.
Cameron recently was granted a new trial by the Fourth Court of Appeals on a technicality involving her family's complaints they were not allowed to watch jury selection.
