CA: Shuttle Buses Get Green Light Despite Strawberry Protests
Shuttle bus service will expand across Marin this summer, with schedule changes that include a controversial route on Belvedere Drive in Strawberry.
The Marin County Transit District board Monday embraced the move as proposed by staff on a 5-0 vote, adding nearly 16,000 hours of bus service in communities across the county beginning Aug. 4 at a cost of about $471,000. Supervisors Susan Adams and Katie Rice were absent.
