OR: Tigard Ballot Measure Supporters Widen Lead; Measure Appears to Have Passed
March 12--Updated election returns posted Wednesday afternoon indicate that Tigard's Ballot Measure 34-210 has passed. The "yes" votes widened the gap from 193 votes Tuesday night to 220 votes now. Supporters of the measure took 51.1 percent of the vote, and 48.9 percent chose "no." Tigard Mayor John Cook described the Tigard community as "divided" on Tuesday night.
