General Superintendent – Maintenance IRC 21423
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the leadership and management of bus maintenance activities, placing priority on cost effective bus maintenance with specific emphasis on developing and delivering the highest level of customer service and performance.
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical related field (mechanical, electrical, electronic, etc.)
A minimum of five years of experience in heavy duty diesel repair and maintenance, gasoline vehicle repair and maintenance, to include major overhauls.
A minimum of five years of experience managing vehicle maintenance and multiple maintenance divisions in a large metropolitan bus transit system.
A minimum of five years of experience supervising in a union environment.
Proficient with Cummins Engine In-Site program, Detroit Pro-Link and ZF-Tech transmission program.
