Shawn Donaghy, a Pierce Township resident, was promoted to Metro ’s director of transit operations on May 20.
In this role, Donaghy manages the delivery of fixed-route services to the community to ensure operational excellence. He oversees all transit operations' functions, including all operators, service delivery and quality, supervision, dispatching and support operations. Metro’s transit operations includes more than 500 employees and a budget of approximately $25 million.
