The new program will replace monthly passes and allow customers to ride YRT for free after a certain number of rides per month.

Customers can now also view their activation history by selecting the "History" tab in the Tickets screen.

The transit systems join GO Transit, UP Express, Brampton Transit, Mississauga’s MiWay and Oakville Transit, which already accepts credit payment.

This phase of the Viva bus rapidway network includes 33.7 kilometers (20.9 miles) of dedicated bus lanes and 38 new stations along York Region’s busiest corridors.
