Modern Streetcars
The Liberty Car is partially low floor to increase accessibility and decrease dwell time for loading and unloading of passengers. The Liberty Car is available in two body widths; different door configurations, various seating configurations, Brookville soft-ride trucks and differing body trim and paint schemes as a regular package. BROOKVILLE realizes that cities have different characteristics and now our streetcars can best match them.
Off-Wire Capabilities
Advanced features that are also being incorporated into the Liberty Car design include off-wire operation for periods of time. Track layout and performance needs required are calculated to determine the off-wire design that will accommodate cities that have areas where overhead wire cannot be accommodated.
Streetcar Modernization
BROOKVILLE has extensive experience in overhauling, rehabilitating, and modernizing existing transit vehicles including trolley maintenance and trolley repair. AC or DC drives, propulsion upgrades, Brookville soft-ride trucks, wheel chair accessibility, and complete interior/exterior restoration will bring an aged vehicle new life.
