The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority has released its fourth mobile application of the year. Lynx PawPass is a mobile payment app allowing customers to pay their bus fare directly from a smartphone.

Customers will be able to pay any current LYNX fare on all buses or NeighborLink services. Those customers wishing to use Youth or AdvantAge discounts will still need to provide a valid LYNX ID available through Lynx customer service.

Americaneagle.com from Chicago developed the app. This app has been designed to provide other regional transit authorities the ability to connect their payment systems with Lynx PawPass. Customers also may access their accounts through golynx.com/tripapps or lynxpawpass.com to conduct self-service transactions.

How to Use Bus and NeighborLink

  • Download App (App Store or Google Play) and install.
  • Create an account.
  • Customers purchase bus fare using their credit or debit card, bus fares will be stored in their account.
  • Activate a ticket just before boarding.
  • Show the driver the active ticket (on-board validator coming 2018)
  • Ride.

Note: Lynx PawPass will need device permission to activate device camera as a security verification for Lynx operator.
