Graffiti Shield, Inc. recently completed all the newly added Gold Line Extension and Expo Line Extension stations. In total, 13 stations were added to the lines. Graffiti Shield, Inc. installed Metal Shield and Glass Shield to all metal and glass surfaces on the street, mezzanine, and platform levels to protect the surfaces from vandalism. This work was done as part of Graffiti Shield, Inc. ongoing contract with LA Metro.

“Adding our products to the new surfaces before vandalism occurs was a very important part of the timeline for Metro.” Says Jeffrey Green CEO of Graffiti Shield, Inc.

The surveying, design, and installation took 15 days for the Graffiti Shield staff to complete. In all Graffiti Shield, Inc. installed over 23k square feet of material and added over 4 thousand part numbers to its growing catalog. “This will now be added to our monthly rotation and inspection to make sure the stations stay graffiti free and inviting for patrons to use this new service.” Says Michael Schuch president of Graffiti Shield, Inc. “We are honored to be part of Metros planning and strategy on a zero tolerance policy on graffiti.” Say Schuch.

Graffiti Shield, Inc. looks forward to future growth on the system as the Crenshaw and Purple Line Extension come on line in the next few years.
