Mobileye® Shield+ is an advanced collision avoidance system for long vehicles. Bus operating conditions demand a high level of awareness from the driver in all environments. Vulnerable Road Users, including pedestrians and cyclists, often are not seen by the operator due to large blind spots around the vehicle, especially when making turns. Shield+ includes telematics that locate and pinpoint potential hot spots on driving routes. Most collisions involving pedestrians and cyclists proved to be preventable with the right technology.
