CRRC Corporation Limited will be taking part in MES Expo in Berlin from November 5 to 7, 2019. As well as CRRC, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council has also confirmed its participation in the first global expo for suppliers of electronic equipment to the mobility industry.
“With CRRC and TAITRA two leading exhibitors from Asia will be taking part in MES Expo in Berlin. It shows that there is considerable global demand for such an event. With MES Expo we are aiming to create a global networking platform for the industry to satisfy that demand,“ said Lisa Höfer, the project manager of MES Expo.
With an annual turnover of 18.5 billion euros in 2017/2018, the Beijing-based Chinese company CRRC is the world’s largest rail manufacturer of rail technology. As a rail systems manufacturer with a wide-ranging portfolio the company supplies customers with electrical and mechanical components, including electric control units for vehicles. In addition to supplying the rail industry, CRRC is also a leading industrial concern with 46 corporations and subsidiaries. CRRC currently makes 90 per cent of its turnover in China. TAITRA has also confirmed its participation in and support for MES Expo. TAITRA is a trade promotion organisation sponsored by the government of Taiwan and the country’s industry. Established in 1970, TAITRA assists Taiwanese businesses and helps them face the challenges on the international market. At MES Expo TAITRA will be on a combined stand presenting established and up-and-coming suppliers of electronic equipment from Taiwan.
