As with immediate effect Messe Berlin has appointed Emanuel Höger to the post of company press spokesman. He will report to Dr. Christian Göke, the chief executive officer of Messe Berlin. At the same time, Messe Berlin’s communications departments are being reorganized. Press and Public Relations as well as Public Affairs and the supervision of committees will be combined under Corporate Communication, which will be directed by Emanuel Höger.
In October 2014 Emanuel Höger became director of the Messe Berlin Public Affairs department. Since the beginning of 2016 he has been acting Messe Berlin Group Press and Public Relations director. Höger studied Political Sciences at the Freie Universität of Berlin and was also senior aide to Governing Mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit.
