SLO Transit Offers Free Bus Service on Small Business Saturday

In support of Small Business Saturday, a national movement encouraging shoppers to support small, local businesses, SLO Transit is offering free bus service all day on Saturday, November 28th, 2015. 

Free bus service makes is easy for the public to access the many locally owned shops and restaurants within the city of San Luis Obispo. By riding transit, the public also helps alleviate the demand for parking, especially during the busy holiday shopping season. SLO Transit provides Saturday bus service on Routes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6A and 6B from approximately 7a.m. to 6p.m. The public can make connections to SLO Transit routes all day with free bus service on Saturday, November 28th.

SLO Transit is the local fixed-route transit operation for the city of San Luis Obispo, operating directly out of the City’s Public Works Department. SLO Transit operates 10 vehicles at peak along eight fixed-routes within the 23 square miles of the city limits of San Luis Obispo and California Polytechnic State University.
