Melissa M. Gemelli, deputy executive director and chief financial officer at Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority (LANta) has been elected to serve as a member of the professional ethics committee of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
The committee investigates complaints as part of the Joint Ethics Enforcement Program, an agreement between the AICPA Professional Ethics Division and state societies across the country to jointly investigate complaints.
Gemelli, a resident of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, has served as LANta's CFO since 2000. A certified public accountant and chartered global management accountant, she hold the B.S. degree from Mount St. Mary's College
