VTA’s Montague light rail station in Milpitas will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, March 23, 2015, in order to accommodate VTA’s BART Silicon Valley Extension Project work on the future Milpitas BART Station.
This video details the purpose of the temporary Montague Light Rail Station closure, transit options for VTA riders who use the station, and additional information about the project’s progress. Constructing a station campus in Milpitas that will serve the region and enhance connectivity is among VTA’s prioritized goals in the delivery of the BART system to Santa Clara County.
