Lynch and Hurley Join Gannett Fleming Team in San Francisco

Charles R. Lynch, PE, and Jeffery A. Hurley have joined Gannett Fleming’s team in San Bruno, Calif.

With more than 35 years of experience, Lynch was previously based in the firm’s Jacksonville, Fla., office. As a vice president of the Gannett Fleming Transit & Rail Systems Division, he will serve as project manager for the firm’s work to support Caltrain’s extensive modernization program, including the Peninsula Corridor electrification project.

Lynch holds a bachelor of science in electronics engineering technology from Franklin University and a master of science in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association and the Locomotive Maintenance Officers' Association.

Hurley will serve as deputy project manager on the Caltrain project. With more than 20 years of transit engineering and construction project management experience, he will lead day-to-day operations for the project; plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and review the work of project staff and sub-consultants; and serve as a liaison between project stakeholders.

A new member of the Gannett Fleming organization, Hurley has worked extensively on significant transit projects throughout California. He holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Delaware.
